| Escape the Crowds... Just imagine a holiday hideaway where there's space beside the pool, you don't have to queue for dinner and the only children running around are your own (if any!). Let's face it, if you prefer to escape it all when you're on holiday, the average all-inclusive hotel break probably isn't for you.
Find Freedom A villa holiday is all about freedom, whether you want to spend the day with your nose in a book by a private pool, or in a map as you get out there and explore. It's the best way to discover the sights. Perfect if you want to get "away from it all", villas are probably in the best locations, with the best views, so you could have beautiful scenery as your back garden, without the responsibility of having to mow the lawn... and you certainly get all of this with Villa Etna Mare. You'll have your own private pool, with no noisy children to share it with but your own and you can make as much of a splash as you want 24/7 !!! Villa Etna Mare is a popular choice for both families and groups of friends, and a mix of the two, good for spending time together or for doing your own thing. In "colder months", snuggled up to the warm open fire roasting chestnuts (we provide plenty of logs free of charge as part of autumn/winter rentals and we have central heating too!), makes it extra special. Snow capped Mount Etna is just a sight to never forget... So pack all your favourite board games, DVDs and CDs or i-pod for relaxed days/evenings together. Villa Etna Mare is all about providing you with a home-from-home experience, in style and in an exciting place with the most amazing views. When in Rome? When in Sicily! If you want to sample the local lifestyle on holiday, this is the best way to do it. You can live like the locals, being an honorary Sicilian for your time in the sun. Things as simple as shopping in a supermarket can make life back home feel a world away. Rustling up a meal to share with delicious regional ingredients is all part of the villa experience, and is much more personal than a hotel buffet. It can be as easy as picking up crusty ciabatta and succulent salamis and olives, and eating them on the terrace with a glass of local wine made from grapes grown on the slopes of Mount Etna, there right in front of you! Or you can be as adventurous as you want, trying out a recipe from the area (e.g. pasta "alla norma", spaghetti "alle vongole"), packed with fresh produce from a nearby market. The fishmongers in Giardini-Naxos are a particular attraction, with fresh lobster, clams and all sorts of seafood plucked straight out of the sea to suit every palate. Why not try fresh king prawns brushed with olive oil and crushed garlic on the barbecue? There's nothing better than dining al fresco at Villa Etna Mare, whether it's a barbecue in the sunshine or dinner under the stars, with the sea shimmering under the moon light and Mount Etna's enormous silhouette looming on the horizon. Make sure you dine out too (lunchtime's are best in high season months as hotel crowds tend to lunch in the hotels), but you'll always be glad to get back to Villa Etna Mare... and we've heard that many times from our guests!
